All aboard! Come learn the art of natural cold-process soap making while aboard an atmospheric canal boat in River Lea. Good to Know The class will start with an overview of soap making history and the ingredients you'll be using for the day. You will then start blending your own bespoke soap scent, selecting from an assortment of essential oils. Add your own personal touch to your soaps by adding colours, textures and decorations with natural ingredients like herbs and flower petals. You will also learn the key ratios and ingredients to formulate a recipe, so you can experiment with confidence at home! Victoria will give you a demonstration at each key step, including the natural cold process of soap making. At the end of the class, you'll walk away with a block of luxury soap to enjoy at home. You'll also be armed with recipes, including for pure coconut oil laundry soap, help tips and supplier list so you can keep experimenting and making natural soaps at home. P.S. You can make with confidence knowing that the boat is insured and has a safety certificate and Traders license to run the workshops. 🙂 The Venue You'll be working on a canal boat on the River Lea in NE London. You'll meet at Tottenham Hale Station and be taken to the boat. Then rock away while whipping up soap like a pro.
