Hello, and welcome to my world of colour and texture! I live on the South West coast of Devon in the UK with my partner, two daughters and two cats, all of whom I adore dearly! One of the strongest influences and a theme which flows through my designs is my Singaporean heritage. My mum is from Singapore and having been on numerous trips to visit family, and growing up with her Asian influence, this has had a clear impact on my designs today. Amanda West’s designs are inspired by the exquisite hues of Oriental silk garments and the movement of nature, combined with the harmonious aesthetics of flora and fauna. The design process used is often mixed media, using various mark making and collage to give texture to motifs. These images combined with the most luxurious and tactile fabrics, make these products truly unique. Amanda West products appeal to those who recognise the elegance and uniqueness of an exclusive design, along with the importance of high-quality craftsmanship.

Hands of Tym is a luxury leather goods operation focusing on ‘one by one’ humanised manufacture of leather handbags and accessories. Every piece is unique and handmade in Banbury, Oxfordshire. Using only the finest materials sourced as locally as our surviving supply chains will allow, our artistry is based on combining the traditional techniques of leather craft with a modern handbag design aesthetic where functionality is key. Bringing ownership of craft back to the individual, reversing the division of labour and ensuring every piece holds a unique bond to the maker. Dreamt up in 2010 and realised in 2016 following a varied career in Accessories design and development. Founding Leathersmith is designer Georgie Tym, a Cordwainers graduate on a private endeavour to keep British craft and industry alive. Georgie works as Leather Accessories Technical lecturer at the London College of Fashion and continues to work on private bespoke work and consultancy work.

Paper High is a Fair Trade company and sell handmade leather bags, stationery, and homeware products. Our mission is to design and source good quality ethical and sustainable fair trade products that also make a difference to peoples lives by providing them with continued work. We work exclusively with small producers in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka and visit once a year. We have a vast array of products with new products being added each season.

We are small independent company that has been trading since 2001; during this time we have forged strong trading relationships with producer groups located in Nepal and India. We have small production runs to eliminate as much waste material, where possible we also recycle the materials into other products. Therefore reducing our impact the environment as much as possible. We work with small family run businesses or fair trade cooperatives, that are creating secure employment in an area with little opportunity, especially for women.
