Letterpress PLAY was founded by Kyle Hawley with the goal of sharing the magic of printing with the world paired with encouraging others to think about fostering sustainable choices and community. Artistically led by Kyle, we beautifully craft products in our design studio in Austin as well as carefully curate quality goods from local artisans and unique makers from around the world. We believe everyone, big or small, should experience the joy of creating something with their hands, and it is our mission to foster community and play for everyone. Using wooden type and letterpress machines, we let our imaginations run wild as we handcraft one-of-a-kind products. And, we do it all with mother earth in mind—biodegradable packaging, recyclable paper, natural dyes, organic cotton, and no-waste toys. As a tribute to pioneering women in print, we named all eight of our beloved letterpress machines after famous female printers who made a lasting mark on our world.

We make botanically-dyed, deckled edge handmade paper which we letterpress print with thoughtful designs and heartfelt messages, all in our studio on our 20-acre hobby farm in California.

WHY THE NAME? Well it’s not as exciting as you might think! We made a long list and Ohh Deer is the name we kept coming back to. It’s got the extra ‘h’ because the .com was available - it’s pronounced Oh like Po, not ooh like flu. PAPERGANG This is our super stationery box. Designed as the perfect gift, each box contains a range of items for the stationery-obsessed including daily planners, sticky notes, pens, pencils, scissors, cards, gift wrap notebooks… the list goes on. It’s a real alternative to chocolate selection boxes for stationery fans. ARTFUL This is our ‘Art school in a box’. Artful is different to anything else currently on the market because each box focuses directly on one art skill. Customers can choose to learn or develop their skills across a range of art disciplines including watercolour, screen printing, soft pastels, colouring pencils and gouache. Based in East Sussex we are a family run, British company proud to produce Greetings Cards, Boxed Silver Jewellery Cards, Boxed Scented Candle and Greeting Cards, Ceramics, Gift Wrap, Stationery and Prints. In 2016 Crumble & Core began its life when 3 friends Jilly, Lucy & Lou came together with a cuppa around the kitchen table looking at Jilly’s beautiful artwork. We wanted to find a way that we could use her incredible artwork to create a beautiful range of Cards and Gifts. We all had very different skillsets, but collectively all those skills put together with a sprinkle of passion, drive and a sense of humour made us lucky enough to land the best job in the world – working together! Since then we have grown, and now run our business from a beautiful Oast house on a dairy farm in the stunning East Sussex countryside, with our products sold extensively in the UK and Worldwide. Stormy Knight was set up in 2013 by its founder Sarah Jackson, alongside her day job as a graphic designer. Bored of working for corporate clients, Sarah poured her creativity into designing screen-printed batches of greeting cards and selling them to local shops in Bristol. Fast forward a decade, and our quirky, fun (and sometimes a little cheeky) designs can be found in some of the best design-led card and gift shops across the UK as well as internationally – and we’ve even stacked up a few awards!

Hello And Welcome To Type & Story. Type and Story is a small, London-based design studio founded by designer, Niccy Iseman, with the intention to help people tell stories and express feelings through meaningful greeting card designs. The aim of Type and Story is to create and distribute purposeful paper goods, including greeting cards, gift wrap and tags, and gift kits to those with stories to tell.

Lizzie Parker is the designer behind all Penguin Ink’s products. Her designs are striking, bright and simple using just one or two colours to depict the shadows, highlights and character of animals concentrating on their eyes. She uses simple lines and shapes to not only get lovely texture with the print form but to also suggest the character of that animal. In the whole collection, she's used a minimal pallet of colours, several of which are special mixes as she feels this bold use of colour brings the collection together. In the past few years, Lizzie has extended the collections further adding in different subject matter and expanding into gift items. Sustainability is a huge part of our decision making process which is why our cards all come nested as standard and all our board is 100% recycled. We believe that where our gift items can’t be recycled they must be built to last and therefore we work very closely with our suppliers to ensure that our products are very high quality.

Delightfully joyful and Earth-kind stationery, journals and gifts designed and created by Somerset-based illustrator and bookmaker Mell Oliver. With a heart to uplift and encourage kindness to people and planet, all of my products are crafted using recycled, sustainable and locally sourced materials as much as possible, while choosing to champion plastic free packaging so as to lessen my impact on the environment where I can. Inspired by the beauty found in nature, the calming practice of journaling, and the joy of nurturing our unique self-expression, my work is a blend of warming tones, motivational lettering, botanical motifs and playful pattern design. I try hard to ensure that all materials used are either recycled, FSC approved, recyclable, plastic free and sourced within the UK where possible, so you can rest assured knowing that each product has been sourced and made with love and mindfulness of the planet.

Our cards are not ordinary. They are as eccentric as Flavia herself, made out of 100% cotton, one at a time with the same love that Flavia put into all she accomplished in her life. These tea-themed gifts are designed to put a smile on anyone's face, whether they're treating themselves, honouring a family member or looking for a gift for a special friend. What better way to let someone know how special they are than by giving them a very special little teacup or a very special cup of tea?!

Paperwhale Cards & Paper Goods is founded by Lianne Harrison who lovingly creates all of Paperwhale’s papercut designs. We make beautifully illustrated greeting cards and paper goods, specialising in botanical and plant cards. A love of paper and a love of nature inspired the name Paperwhale, and all products are made with the environment in mind. We are proud to be stocked in independent shops, galleries and garden centres throughout the UK and overseas. We have also worked with larger retailers including Kew Gardens, RHS Gardens and Somerset House. Our Botanics Collection features individual plant care tips on reverse, making them very popular with plant shops, garden centres and botanical gardens. Our Glasshouse Concertina Collection is inspired by botanical gardens and the collection includes a Glasshouse, Orangery and Butterfly House.
