Keep your favourite memories somewhere special with this leather photo album. Crafted with care, we love the hand embossed details, stitched edge, and ornate brass clasp. Each one is filled with 30 pages of handmade khadda paper, acid-free and interleaved with tissue paper to protect and preserve your photographs. The album can hold up to 120 6×4″ photos, and is also perfect for use as a scrapbook or sketchbook._x000D__x000D_Dimensions: 26 × 18.5 cm_x000D__x000D_Expertly crafted using both contemporary and traditional methods, each one is bound by hand and sturdy enough to keep all your most treasured memories safe. The leather used for the cover is a by-product of the meat industry in India and is tanned using only natural dyes. Protected with natural oils, it will soften and age beautifully. The embossed detail is created using small handmade tools, making each album unique. The pattern might not be exactly the same as the one pictured, but it will be just as beautiful._x000D__x000D_The pages are created from khadda paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi). This sustainable material is crafted by hand from recycled cotton, salvaged from the huge waste of the Indian garment industry. Only unbleached cotton is used, ensuring the paper is acid-free. Lightly textured and luxuriously thick, it feels beautiful to write, draw, or paint on. While it’s perfect for ball-point pens, gel pens, or watercolours, we wouldn’t recommend it for use with fountain pens._x000D__x000D_Photos can be placed inside the photo album with glue, spray mount or self-adhesive photo corners available from stationery shops._x000D__x000D_Due to the handmade nature of our products each one is unique, but loveliness comes as standard._x000D__x000D_All the products in this range are handmade by a small family business in Rajasthan, India. We are fortunate enough to visit them every year, having worked with them for many years following Fair Trade guidelines. We are incredibly proud that together we are able to provide people in rural villages fairly paid work that may have otherwise been difficult to find, and consider the producers and their families true friends.
