However, our jam is made with our award-winning Malbec grapes – the very same grapes that make up our Il Vescovo wine. The ripe fruit flavours of plum and blackcurrants that are so flavoursome in our wine, give our jam a unique, exciting characteristic. They are then cooked with sugar until the grapes are soft and they have released their natural sugar and it has reached the ideal consistency, it is cooled and transferred in to jars. The Wine flavour is all there. You will immediately recognise its Malbec connection by its dark colour and unmistakable taste. It is smooth, mellow, and absolutely delicious over brie, goat or parmesan cheese or when accompanying a roast turkey. And yes, it tastes like wine!
