These glass straws are made of borosilicate glass, a type of neutral glass mainly composed of silica and borates, which is stronger than conventional glass and is usually used in laboratories. It can withstand temperature variations and can withstand cold down to -20C° and heat up to 200C°. They are also dishwasher, microwave and freezer resistant. (Beware however of shocks with other objects in the dishwasher, such as cutlery, during washing) Precautions for use: As with any glass object, use of these straws by children should be under adult supervision. These glass straws are resistant to small shocks, but can break if dropped on the ground. Do not use them if they are cracked or broken, as there is a risk of cutting.
