Raspberry leaves have been used for centuries as herbal remedies, including to induce labour. It is believed that the fragarine and tannins in raspberry leaves help stimulate uterine contractions, which helps relieve menstrual cramps. The peppermint leaves in this tea help reduce bloating, and have been proven to reduce pain during periods. Jujube contains vitamins and minerals such as vitamin C, and has been shown to reduce anxiety. Orange peel has several benefits for a healthy immune system and improving your skin – and adds a little extra flavour. Please note: Do not drink this tea if you are trying to get pregnant or in the first trimester of your pregnancy. If you intend to drink this tea during your second or third trimester, please consult your midwife or health professional first.
