Our ever popular Halloumi Kit has been realuanched to include a recipe for ‘Greek Style Cheese’! We’re not allowed to call it by it’s real name but we ‘BET-A’ you can figure it out! It contains everything needed to make these two fresh cheeses in your own kitchen with no fancy equipment. All you need to add is milk, and a little yoghurt for Greek Style Cheese. The Halloumi requires 4 litres of readily available ‘unhomogenised’ milk. All major supermarkets sell this, it’s simply Gold Top. Buy a kit and be amazed at how good your cheese tastes and how smug you feel! Or alternatively buy a Kit as a gift and sit back and relax in your role as Cheese Taster Extraordinaire! The Halloumi you make will be better than any shop bought Halloumi you’ll have tasted. Traditionally made from a mixture of sheep and goat’s milk, Feta is now wildly made from cow’s milk. Once you’ve made a batch, try it in our Spanakopita recipe that’s included in the Kit’s amazing recipe booklet! The Kit contains enough ingredients to make 12 batches, and each batch is between 300-600g…that’s a lot of cheese! There’s no need to make it all at once though… that would be a crazy amount of cheese! Stored in your cupboard this kit will last absolutely ages (well over a year) so you have plenty of time to enjoy it and dip in and out of cheese making.
