My journey began when I couldn’t find a shampoo that my dog Ellie wasn’t allergic too. Bath time was frustrating and upsetting to see her suffer from extreme skin irritation the shampoos caused. As a recreational soap maker, I knew most liquid shampoos contained harmful and synthetic ingredients that were the culprit for her problems knew there had to be a natural alternative. After researching, experimenting with recipes, Happy Dog bar was created! It was named after Ellie because bath time turned into a joyful experience and I was also happy there was no plastic needed, which meant less waste! With positive feedback and encouragement, I launched Cordoba Farms to create a line of natural, plastic-free, dog-safe body care. Our products are better for your pup and the earth!
