Inspired by Nan’s annual hand knitted jumpers for the grandchildren throughout childhood, I just had to create this piece in reflection of her talent. Where better than our lovely Scottish mill who we trust to make all of our knitwear across a small team with a passion for their seam free produce. Spun in a local Lambswool with a Supersoft finish, this cardigan is chunky to the look but lightweight and soft to the touch, a perfect layering piece across all seasons. Produced slowly and lovingly across a limited knitwear batch, this style is destined to tell a story and will last a lifetime. Originally starting as a sock factory for the local sailors, our mill pride themselves on using only natural fibres from Scottish and Italian yarns to produce seam free garments using a whole garment knitting technique known as ‘flatbed tubular’.
