Our Hand Salve not only contains our fantastic beeswax, but it also contains Squalane. Squalane (a stabilized version of squalene) oil biomemitically acts in place of your own body's natural squalene. When we're young, our body makes much more squalene, and our levels naturally decline as we age. This has got to be the absolute best oil that science has derrived to keep skin nourished and refreshed. Spearmint (Mentha spicata L.) contains several active compounds, among them, Carvone. Carvone has been found in lab tests to exhibit antibacterial properties. Spearmint has also been used ethnobotanically to treat muscle and joint pain. Rosmarinic Acid is another active compound in Spearmint Essential Oil, having demonstrated both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Our hand salve contains the following all natural ingredients: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond Oil) Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Mentha Spicata (Spearmint) Oil, Lanolin, Tocopherol.
