Started in 2019, we are husband and wife team based in Dorset. With David's fine dinning chef background and my visual merchandising skill, we have created a range of artisan chilli sauces. Using British grown chillies and the finest ingredients, we lovingly fermented and handmade our products. Natural, fruity and aromatic. Our products are stocked in Harrods and many top end farm shops in Dorset, also in USA.
Our journey with Savanah Sauce Company began in August 2014 during a trip to Jekyll Island, Georgia. We met a couple selling their sauces. We purchased some sauce and a distributorship. It took another seven months to get retail sales, but we were eventually offered shelf space in a few local stores and Whole Foods market. After some issues with the current manufacturer, we developed our signature hot sauces. Soon after, we expanded our product line to include barbecue sauces, ketchups, mustards, relishes, and salsas. We believe and practice responsible capitalism. That is to say-- no matter how much revenue you generate, you must give back. Giving back to veterans was and still is a top priority for us as a company. As such, Mike Roberson wrote our first cookbook and gave the profits from that cookbook to our local homeless authority to help build a tiny home community for homeless veterans.

We are a small family-owned company started by my grandmother Hazel Donelson in 1991. My name is William Brasher, I am the operations manager of the current facility, and would like to take you on our journey back to the beginning where it all started to the present day. Hazel was first introduced to the world of spices and seasoning blends in 1970 when she started working for Griffith Labs in Union City, Ca as a QC. At this time in 1980 Hazel went to work with former colleagues, at Associated Systems in Dublin, continuing to create seasonings and recipes for School Districts. During this time, in the early 80’s Hazel put me to work helping my grandmother make samples. In 1988 Hazel went to work for Everson Spice Co. in Southern California. She created seasoning for prepackaged meat that would be displayed in Albertson’s and Lucky supermarkets in the meat department. I still made samples for her when Hazel worked on weekends and her husband Bill Donelson would help her at tradeshows.
Our sauce is dedicated to all the foodies, spice lovers, and generations of Vietnamese folks, young and old, living in the US wanting a taste of home.
The Cornish Larder came from very humble beginnings, starting in founder Jake’s parents’ kitchen. Having grown up in Cornwall and spent many years cooking in hotels across the county, Jake wanted to create a business that celebrated the amazing food and drink that this area produces.
