As a stay-at-home Mum, Charlotte works countless hours around her daily routine to dream up and illustrate new and interesting designs. Behind the scenes, Charlotte is aided by her supportive husband Michael, who lends a helping hand in the administration that keeps everything running smoothly. Our Pencil Shavings Cards are all handmade in the UK. Each card is individually made using real pencil shavings lovingly cut by our team of skilled homeworkers. With over 200 designs to choose from, there’s something for everyone.

We are Laura and Jack! We run Paper Plane, a greetings card, giftware and homeware company, based in Rutland, England's smallest county. We like to make products that help people to express their true feelings and which reflect their personality and sense of humour. Our cards and bath and beauty products are stocked by 150+ stores worldwide, including Paperchase, Urban Outfitters, Papersmiths, Oliver Bonas and TJX.

Lizzie Parker is the designer behind all Penguin Ink’s products. Her designs are striking, bright and simple using just one or two colours to depict the shadows, highlights and character of animals concentrating on their eyes. She uses simple lines and shapes to not only get lovely texture with the print form but to also suggest the character of that animal. In the whole collection, she's used a minimal pallet of colours, several of which are special mixes as she feels this bold use of colour brings the collection together. In the past few years, Lizzie has extended the collections further adding in different subject matter and expanding into gift items. Sustainability is a huge part of our decision making process which is why our cards all come nested as standard and all our board is 100% recycled. We believe that where our gift items can’t be recycled they must be built to last and therefore we work very closely with our suppliers to ensure that our products are very high quality.

We're JOLLY AWESOME - a family-run studio designing playful contemporary cards, art prints and gifts :) Founded in 2013 by British-Vietnamese illustrator Matt Nguyen and wife Katie, our collections feature Matt's original illustrations influenced by his love of pop-culture, fashion and funny looking animals. Liyana Studio's story began when I was doodling funny animals on my lap in a tiny home studio in Berkeley, California. It was a mental break while searching for a job after graduating from engineering school. After sharing my self-taught art on Reddit, it gained instant fame of over 2 million "upvotes". Encouraged by this unexpected success and with funding from kind internet strangers, I opened Liyana Studio in December 2017. Rooted in online meme culture, my illustrated animals do not just smile; they grin, beam, smug, and wink; they express and pose like us. It’s my passion to make you chuckle, laugh out loud, and make an audible "aww". I can’t wait for you to share these feelings with your loved ones by gifting them the cards. Now, this one woman-owned studio has grown to include more than 300 designs including cards, calendar, stickers. I continue to take pride in handmaking each product and locally sourcing my supplies. All of my cards are hand-painted and handmade by me.

Green Elephant Cards is a woman owned business based in the UK, which started trading at the beginning of 2020. It all started in the summer of 2019 when the founder, Amee decided to dip her toe into the water of the greeting card industry. Although she had a decade of experience in the analytical side of retail, she knew her passion since childhood truly lay in design, and thus, with bags of enthusiasm and lots of ideas, she decided to venture into the creative world. The following four years have been extremely busy and exciting, spending time learning on the job about the industry whilst producing an amazing and vast range of unique designs for all occasions. Green Elephant Cards now proudly boasts 300 greeting cards, each concept carefully thought through and designed with the customer in mind. With a vast but carefully curated catalogue of designs, we have something for every sentiment and occasion, whether you are looking for something tongue in cheek to heartfelt.

Playfully illustrated, recycled and waste free greeting cards & paper goods, designed in our studio in Wales. Our greeting cards aim to inspire a little kindness and connection. We have all the usual occasions covered, plus a tonne of ways to say ‘hello, thinking of you, you’re awesome.’ Working from our studio in Wales, we have been creating playfully illustrated paper goods since 2017, being proudly stocked in over 300 UK & European stores, including Oliver Bonas, Trader Joes in the US and around 200 independent stores in Australia.

Highgrove Cards is a small, independent business. We’re proud to be based in Devon, where we design all our cards in-house. Highgrove cards was started as a lockdown project. Like many people, we found ourselves with a lot of time on out hands, and with little outlet for our creative energies. So, we started designing and crafting unique (and uniquely eco-friendly) cards for all sorts of special occasions. We even managed to sell a few. Today, Highgrove cards proudly sells on Etsy, Scribbler and Thortful, as well as our own website. We offer cards that are perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, Valentine’s day, Graduation, new baby, new home, new job and Christmas What it means to be eco-friendly in the card business.

Hey there. I'm Mike and I proudly own my award-winning little business, Prints With Personality. I've got a shed load of graphic design geekery in my back pocket and this is my way of sharing it with the world. Originally from Liverpool but now settled in sunny Yorkshire. We love nothing more than to help people bring out their personalities in their homes and through the cards they send to their loved ones.

Zoe Spry is an illustration and design studio based in Bristol, UK. ​ With a degree in Textile Design, a Masters degree in Graphic Arts and industry experience working as a Children's Book designer, Zoe Spry aims to combine fun, thoughtful sentiments in tandem with on trend design and high quality finishes; making her products unique. ​ Zoe is proud to be stocked in both independent retailers and larger high street stores across the UK. All cards now come packaged 'naked' (no wrappers or cellos) as standard to be more environmentally conscious. However if you prefer compostable cellos, we have an add on option to add a pack of cellos for self wrapping. Products are all individually barcoded.
