ANGEL HAIR ORGANIC TEA

THE WHITE EXPERIENCE

White tea - premium organic Mao Feng from the mountains of Fujian in Yunnan, China, also called angel hair due to its leaf texture with the silvery tips, sweetish-mild taste. Mild white tea from China, the perfect companion through the day.


PREPARATION

Pour your white tea at 70 ° C. You should put about 12-15 grams of tea in a tea strainer for one liter of water. This is roughly equivalent to 4 heaped teaspoons. Let your white tea steep for 1-3 minutes before removing the tea strainer from the water.

You can infuse the tea 2-3 times. I.e. with a can of tea that is filled with 60g, you can prepare yourself in about 80 cups of white tea.

The good thing about your tea is: You can also infuse it cold as a cold brew tea. The dosage is similar, but you have to let the tea steep in cold water for 30-60 minutes. This is a refreshing alternative, especially for the warm summer months.

You can also put your boiled tea in the refrigerator after it has finished brewing. So you can drink it as a healthy iced tea.

Our Angel Hair is a Chinese white tea, Mao Feng. The harvest time is usually between April and May, the first shoots of the tea bushes are harvested in spring.

The Angel Hair is light yellow in the cup and sweetish-mild in the taste with a flowery finish. The more light and silvery tips the tea contains, the earlier it was picked and the higher the quality. The name angel hair for Mao Feng originated from the silvery tips. The Mao Feng BIO tea comes from the Fujian Mountains in Yunnan, China.

THE UNIQUE EXPERIENCE

Oolong Tea - Premium BIO Broken Oolong Tea from China (Formosa Fine Oolong), special semi-fermented tea in the Chinese Oolong tradition with a sweet, strong note. Diverse aroma and a health-promoting effect.


PREPARATION

Pour your oolong tea at 80 ° C. You should put about 12-15 grams of tea in a tea strainer for one liter of water. This is roughly equivalent to 4 heaped teaspoons. Let your oolong tea steep for 2-4 minutes before removing the tea strainer from the water.

You can infuse the tea 2-3 times. I.e. with a can of tea that is filled with 50g, you can prepare yourself in about 65 cups of oolong tea.

The good thing about your tea is: You can also infuse it cold as a cold brew tea. The dosage is similar, but you have to let the tea steep in cold water for 30-60 minutes. This is a refreshing alternative, especially for the warm summer months.

You can also put your boiled tea in the refrigerator after it has finished brewing. So you can drink it as a healthy iced tea.

VAKKA's black tea has grown in Yunnan province, which is located in southwestern China. The landscape here has undulating peaks with an average elevation of more than 1000 meters. The country is densely forested and the subtropical climate with an average temperature of 18-22 ° C and annual rainfall of 1,200-1,700 millimeters, makes the soil extremely fertile. 

The tea plants grow and live their lives in full fog morning and evening on sunny days, and on the cloudy days they stand under the clouds and grow big and strong. The plants thus have all the prerequisites for growth - and they do. The fertile soil results in tall tea plants with strong buds and leaves. Both leaves and buds are soft, tender and strong. The tea plants are like art - beautiful and complete.

You must choose our Organic Black Tea if you want a tea with an intense and earthy taste. A taste that lasts a long time, completely without becoming bitter. The aroma is soft and lasting. Oxidation: Fully oxidized

Process: After harvest, the water content of the tea leaves is reduced. This is done by shaking and turning the leaves repeatedly. Then the rolling begins, where the cell walls of the leaves are broken and ready for oxidation - also called fermentation. During oxidation, the tea leaves become dark. A color change that takes place as the leaves get oxygen. After fermentation, the leaves must be dried through, which greatly reduces the water content and ensures shelf life. 

How to brew tea

To achieve the most refined taste, we recommend that you use approx. one teaspoon of tea for every pint of water. Start by softening the tea by pouring it over with warm, non-boiling water. Let it pull until the leaves unfold. Then pour off the liquid. The tea leaves are now ready for brewing. 

Drizzle the tea leaves with boiled water, which has a temperature of 95-100 degrees. Then let it soak for three minutes to get the completely unique aftertaste. The same tea leaves can be reused up to three times.
