Handmade from eco-friendly recycled glass and metal, our terrariums help to reduce the amount of unwanted global waste and cut down on the usage of unsustainable sources. Dimensions: Small - 18.5 x 16 x 7cm Large - 21 x 18.5 x 7cm Using only recycled glass and metal, our terrariums are entirely hand-crafted using traditional skills handed down from generation from generation. Due to the handmade nature of our products each one is unique, but loveliness comes as standard. Care instructions: As our terrariums are crafted by hand, some may have small gaps in the joins. This shouldn’t be a problem for cacti or succulents, but in the event of overwatering the excess water could cause a leak, and so it’s best to place your terrarium on a protected surface. These products are expertly handcrafted by TARA Projects (Trade Alternative Reform Action), a World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) and founding Fair Trade Forum India member. Established in the early 1970s, they are dedicated to creating opportunities and support for economically disadvantaged home-based artisans and crafts people in Delhi. Over the years the project has extended its work into the adjoining states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan. The project provides services to enable the production and marketing of handicrafts following Fair Trade principles, as well as providing education and support to empower their grassroots artisans. The heart of their work is dedicated to eradicating poverty, by fighting against exploitation and illiteracy amongst their producers and working communities.
