Samantha Holmes founded her design label in Scotland in 2003 as an ethical lifestyle brand, specialising in natural, handcrafted clothing, gifts and home textiles beautifully made by our artisan studios in Peru using softest alpaca. Alpaca was once prized by Inca nobility for its unique buttery softness, durability and exceptional insulating properties. Our ranges are stocked by independent boutiques all over the world.

Hi I’m Amy and I am a textile artist and all round crafter. I set up The Edinburgh Craft Club from my studio in, you guessed it, Edinburgh, after graduating with a degree in textile design from Duncan Of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, Scotland. When I say craft I don’t want it to conjure up the chintzy image of your granny's knitted toilet roll cover. My aim is to reclaim craft to be modern, relevant and even cool! Since 2018 I have taught over 4000 people in my colourful classes for novice crafters. I also make my own range of beautiful craft kits to be enjoyed at home. I design each kit from start to finish and have lots of experience in creating and writing projects that are easy to follow and complete. I am passionate about creating modern craft projects and you'll never find me happier than when I'm in my studio coming up with new ideas.

My name is Monica Milton, I design and hand make beautiful sterling silver and 9ct gold jewellery from my studio in Fife, Scotland. Every piece is created using traditional techniques and hallmarked by Edinburgh Assay Office. I take my inspiration from both nature and the stunning landscapes of Scotland. My one off designs are designed around the gemstone itself.

The Native State designs bold, playful and modern prints for your home, nursery or office. Founded in 2012 by designer Frankie Kerr-Dineen, The Native State started from a box room in a ground floor flat in Edinburgh, Scotland. When the call of the Scottish countryside was too much, Frankie, her husband and dog Shabba moved to a small village just outside St Andrews in Fife. With the arrival of their daughter in 2016, The Native State moved to a garden studio where Frankie happily sits today sharing a creative space with her graphic designer husband, Hasta Inc.

East Neuk Beach Crafts began in the summer of 2016 in the beautiful fishing town of Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. After discovering a love of beach-combing, I built up my little business for 6 years, making handmade beach collages and jewellery from the antique beach pottery, sea glass, driftwood and shells I found washed up along our beautiful coastline. More recently, with lockdown and a little extra time on my hands to experiment, I’ve diversified into other mediums, in particular watercolour, ink, coloured pencil and graphite. This has given me total freedom to capture all the other aspects of the local villages and wildlife that I am so inspired by but which have been hard to represent using just my beach finds! I hope my new range of illustrations embody the colourful, whimsical joy of the Scottish seaside, our beautiful beaches and cute, local wildlife!

Hi, I'm Melanie I started White Rabbit Skincare in April 2014 after being diagnosed with the skin condition psoriasis, which had flared up during my time at university. I discovered that there isn't a cure for psoriasis - but you can improve the symptoms and appearance of skin patches through topical treatments. I researched into such traditional topical treatments, and was horrified to discover that not only does your skin absorb quite a considerable amount of what you put onto it into your blood stream but the majority of products on the market were full of irritants and synthetic ingredients, which might soothe the symptoms temporarily, but could have long term implications. So, inspired by apothecary gardens of old, I set out to create a range of natural, vegan and sustainable skincare products that not only I could trust, but others could too, and help you feel confident in your own skin again, as well as making a big impact, with minimal imprint on our planet.
