An incredibly distinctive artistic style, David's work conjures up ironic comments on everyday situations and human interactions. His perceptive drawings and texts are typically deadpan in their humour and reveal chance declarations like snippets of over-heard conversations. Reoccurring themes and random musings permeate his story telling, often capturing childlike views of the world. Whilst drawing is at the core of his work, he is also prolific in various other mediums including sculpture, large-scale installations, painting, animation, photography and music. He is consistently looking to expand his public by operating regularly outside of the gallery territory such as in artist publications and musical collaborations. In September 2016, David’s Fourth Plinth Commission in Trafalgar Square, London was unveiled. Standing at seven metres high, the ‘Really Good’ thumbs up sculpture was a refreshing and wonderfully optimistic addition to the famous landmark.
We’re artisan chocolatiers on a mission to bring you beautiful handmade chocolate gifts that supports UK’s creative artists. Based in Edinburgh, sustainability, inclusivity and kindness are at our heart. It all began in 2008 when graphic designer Sandra Colamartino found a way to combine her two favourite things – beautiful design and delicious chocolate – by creating personalised chocolate bars in her small workshop in Edinburgh. Just a few years later we and now based in a former Art Deco school at the foot of Arthur's Seat. We have grown into a small, but perfectly formed independent business, operating our own chocolate kitchen. And the secret to our beautiful designer chocolate gifts? We combine the amazing talents of our in-house chocolatiers with the talents of independent illustrators, designers and creatives. We pay a royalty to the artists for each sale featuring their work, so by choosing Quirky Chocolate you're also supporting the independent creative community directly. It
At Bare Kind we make socks that save animals. Founded by Lucy Jeffrey in 2018, our mission has always been to leave the planet in a better state than which we found it, and that’s why every pair of our bamboo socks donates 10% of profits to a charity working to protect the animal on the sock. We are proud to use high-quality bamboo, which is soft, sweat wicking and thermoregulating. Our socks are sourced from a 3rd generation family-run factory in Istanbul, made with OEKO-TEX certified fibre and packaged in FSC certified cardboard. We are also B-Corp certified, meaning we demonstrate high social and environmental performance. Our search for a fair trade, ethically minded local supplier, with the range and vision to support our plans to create the most beautiful and colourful range of high-quality, fairly priced harem pants and trousers, took us to Thailand. We have tried to keep plastics out of the delivery and packaging process: currently harem pants are delivered without a hang tag, wrapped in black (or other colours) tissue-wrapping paper and sent out in a "large letter" sized re-cycled cardboard outer mailing carton - it's not 100% perfect yet, but we are taking every step we can to have a zero-use plastic policy.

The ability to craft an object from the materials found beneath our feet is what drives my passion to create. Based just outside The Cotswolds; I explore the use of clay with throwing functional pieces, for everyday use and handbuilding organic sculptures. Hand thrown pieces includes; soap dishes, plates, bowls, mugs, and beakers etc. My pieces are colourful, with unique glazes that make them desirable to hold and use. Large scale organic sculptures are informed by objects collected from the shore; objects altered and changed through their journey across the sea. Through balance, texture and a blend of glazes, these sculptures encourage discussion and draw the viewer into an extra-terrestrial world. I graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University with a first class degree in Ceramics in 2017. I was a Graduate Ceramic Intern for two years following my degree, where I taught ceramics at a school in Somerset. My business is in its third year now.

Hello folks! Harris Card Co. was created in 2016 by me, Lauren, a messy haired Scottish lass with a passion for art and design. I make sweet and funny (and a little bit awkward) cards for every occasion. Enjoy :)
Founded in London in 2016, with an aim to inspire people to take notes and sketch in unique notebooks and send out greeting cards instead of couple of lines typed in an e-mail. As we are all very lazy sometimes to grab a pen and take note in our daily routine, a beautifully made colorful notebook would certainly inspire us all to go back to basics. Or a postcard through the letterbox is appreciated now more than ever before, as our inbox is getting crazier with every single promotional e-mail, sent by high street brands. Our collections have bold, colourful designs and motivational/inspirational messages by independent illustrators in Istanbul. The quality of printing and premium paper is remarkable.
Betiobca (human name: Tea) is a Liverpool based brand creating minimalist, quirky cards and prints using playful typography and bold colours. All products are printed in the UK, with sustainibility in mind - on FSC certified paper with recyclable packaging. Cards are supplied nested, please message if you'd prefer biodegradable cellos as packing option. We have also partnered up with Ecologi to offset our carbon footprint and plant more trees, yay! ໒(⚆ᴥ⚆)७
Hi, I'm Melanie I started White Rabbit Skincare in April 2014 after being diagnosed with the skin condition psoriasis, which had flared up during my time at university. I discovered that there isn't a cure for psoriasis - but you can improve the symptoms and appearance of skin patches through topical treatments. I researched into such traditional topical treatments, and was horrified to discover that not only does your skin absorb quite a considerable amount of what you put onto it into your blood stream but the majority of products on the market were full of irritants and synthetic ingredients, which might soothe the symptoms temporarily, but could have long term implications. So, inspired by apothecary gardens of old, I set out to create a range of natural, vegan and sustainable skincare products that not only I could trust, but others could too, and help you feel confident in your own skin again, as well as making a big impact, with minimal imprint on our planet.
Too many fashion companies disregard our planet. Plastic, fast fashion and pollution are all a detrimental to our ecosystems. We can make choices to positively change the planet. We knew we had to be a part of the solution. Sustainably sourced polarised wooden sunglasses with fruit trees planted in the third world to absorb CO2 along with providing food & industry to reduce further deforestation. Crafted from hand selected materials, built to be strong and durable. We take great pride in field testing everything we sell to ensure the quality is fit for modern lifestyle. Through our love of the outdoors and preserving it we use renewable materials where possible and ensure our products are not made to be disposable. We avoid unnecessary packaging and plastics where possible. The packaging sent out with our orders is fully recyclable
