Welcome to Home Scentsations! My name’s Cait and I created HS during the first lockdown of 2020. I have always loved candles; from the way they can instantly create a homely vibe to the memories they bring with a strike of a match. After a few years I began to get increasingly annoyed at how much money I was spending on home fragrance – which ironically, held hardly any fragrance at all! Once I started looking into this more and more, I realised how many harmful toxins came with buying the “high end”, “designer” candles – many of which use paraffin wax. When it came to scent though, I was still having the same problem as before. The candles just weren’t filling the room as nicely as I wanted them to. So… I decided to give it a go at making my own! This only started as making candles for my own benefit and for friends and family. But why not give selling them a go and making other people happy as well?!
