The Wirksworth Pottery Company

My name is Hannah, I own The Wirksworth Pottery Company, which is a small independent ceramics company based at the bottom of the Peak District in Wirksworth, Derbyshire. I previously worked for the world renowned Denby Pottery on the design team as a glaze specialist, creating much of the collections which can still be purchased today. This means that all of our glazes are unique to us, we do not use shop bought glaze and therefore will always be different to our competitors. It also means we have the ability to create specific glazes for yourself including changes to surface finish and colour matching. The Wirksworth Pottery Company has been established for just under 5 years, with over 17 years ceramics experience for myself. We aim to create everyday products which become the users favourite item, their favourite mug or their favourite plate for a sandwich. Everyday ceramics that bring joy and make everyday movements even more enjoyable.
