Mille Saisons - French for 1000 seasons because we design classic, long lasting accessories. Pronounced like the first part of mille feuille but without the cream!

Mille Saisons is a British indie brand dedicated to silk accessories. At Mille Saisons we are passionate about silk and only use Grade A Mulberry silk to create our accessories. All our silk accessories are carefully made in small batches in Britain and include silk scrunchies, hair bows, headbands and eye masks in a beautiful range of colours.
At Mille Saisons we love silk and think everyone should have some silk in their lives. Silk is soft and gentle on the skin making it the perfect upgrade you and your accessories deserve.

Mille Saisons is pretty much just run by me, Jo. Sometimes when I say 'we' I mean me and Mille Saisons the brand as they are a bit different (real life Jo is a lot more sweary than brand Jo...!)
I launched Mille Saisons in 2016 after studying Fashion at Kingston University to share my love of silk.

The Relevé silk hair elastic is perfect for anyone who wants to use silk on their hair but wants something more subtle than a scrunchie. Perhaps you wore too many scrunchies back in the 80s and 90s (we aren’t sure we believe there is such a thing as too many scrunchies!) or you just want a simple hair tie to hold your hair back without the fashion statement of a scrunchie, then the Relevé silk hair band is perfect for you.

 

Featuring thicker elastic than our normal scrunchies, these are also perfect for thicker hair that needs a bit more support.

 

Approximately 1.5 cm or ¾” wide and 20cm or 8” around stretching to 33cm or 13” with nearly invisible hand stitched closure.

 

94% Silk, 6% Spandex, 19 momme. We tend to use a silk spandex mix because it has a better handle and a little extra stretch. We recommend a gentle hand wash.


Wrap your hair in luxurious grade A mulberry silk with our silk capuchon and wake up each morning with smoother, softer hair.

Mini silk satin scrunchies ideal for mini hair buns or smaller ponytails. We don't think the scrunchie ever went out of style but with the 90s making a comeback, silk satin scrunchies are perfect for a retro sportluxe look and are super gentle on your hair.

Approximately 2cm/¾” wide and 24cm/9¾” in circumference when fully stretched with a diameter of 7cm/2¾". Photos above show how the mini size compares to our standard scrunchie size.

The silk Lily hair bow features small pleats for a beautifully soft structured hair bow barrette clip.

 

Mille Saisons' bows are finished by hand to attach them to the barrette clips and are perfect for simple feminine hairstyles- we love sweeping the sides of the hair away from the face and securing this small amount of hair in the bow for a romantic half up style or adding to the top of ponytail for the perfect finish.

Our Tess silk ribbon is designed to allow you to wear it in multiple ways; tie the silk hair ribbon in a bow around ponytails or buns, thread your silk tie through a braid, wrap it around your head as a hair band or even wear it as a short silk scarf around your neck.

Our silk satin headbands are perfect for old school retro glamour. These individually made silk headbands are designed to be wide enough to be worn either flat or folded with small pleats at the sides. With a beautiful sheen, stretch silk satin has got to be the softest way to hold your hair back either on casual days or to bring vintage glamour to an evening outfit.

An elastic strap covered with silk satin holds the hair band comfortably onto your head.
