Kitu Snack

Kitu is the name that the Incas gave to the Middle of the World, where the most exotic nature grows. It is a word that comes from the ancient Quichua language, which gave rise to the city of Quito, the capital of Ecuador. Our vegetables come from small-scale local farmers in the Equatorial region. They are grown from 800m of the Tropical Coast, up to 4,000m of altitude in the Andean Highlands. Kitu Snack, vegetable chips are handcrafted vegetable by vegetable in small batches of 15 to 20kg. They are elaborated at 2,500m above the sea level at low temperature, thus avoiding the formation of acrylamides, as well as the absortion of oil and fat. By doing so, we avoid the unpleasant oily feeling and preserve the natural taste of our vegetables.
