JBK Pottery began in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in the early 1970's by Jim Kalbfleisch from his passion for making pottery. Many changes have occurred through the various decades in the employee / artisans and in the various products produced. Competition from imports have driven innovation and changes in product mix. Lisela Teichert now owns and runs the company with some of her family and a few select employees. Our JBK kitchen gadget items have proven to be very popular and are great sellers. A few of these items include our: Brown Sugar Savers – Soften rock hard brown sugar and keep dried fruit, etc... fresh! Pot Minders – Helps keep pots from boiling over.
