Hen on the Shore Fused Glass

Catherine Henshaw, the face behind Hen on the Shore Fused Glass, is a glass artist specialising is glass fusing. She has been working in glass for over 10 years and has developed her own style of glass work which differs from much of the fused glassware that you will see from other artists. Created in her Buckinghamshire studio Catherines highly tactile work is individually created by hand and fired in a glass kiln at a temperature that sticks the glass together but still retains the unique texture representing the leaves of a tree. Here you can find Catherines most popular Four Seasons range featuring trees in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter created using sheet art glass, enamel and crushed glass.
