Our Chan Chan Heart Sculpture is a tribute to the ancient civilization of the Chimú, who built the largest adobe city in pre-Columbian America. Sculpture is a masterpiece of the Cusco School, a Roman Catholic artistic tradition that flourished in Peru during the colonial period. It is crafted from rice paste, plaster, and painted with acrylic colors. The heart-shaped base is decorated with the artistic and architectural style of Chan Chan.
