Founded in 2019 by Libbie Coulson, 26th of May originated from a spontaneous visit to Hobbycraft, where Libbie purchased polymer clay on a whim. What began as an experimental hobby soon evolved into a flourishing jewellery brand, driven by Libbie's innate creativity and passion for design. With a background in Design, Libbie's transition to jewellery making was a natural progression, blending her love for art with her technical expertise. Inspired by her late mother, whose birthday was on the 26th of May, the brand's name serves as a poignant tribute to her mother's enduring influence and unwavering support. Since its inception, 26th of May has expanded its offerings beyond polymer clay jewellery, embracing a diverse range of materials and styles.
