The Kashmir wool thread makes them soft to the touch at the same time as durable and hardwearing. The shapes and colours in this Circles and Smiles cushion design have been inspired by the work of the famous Scottish designer and architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Each Zaida cushion has been hand made in Kashmir by master craftsmen using a century’s old chainstitch technique called crewel using high quality pre-dyed 100% wool yarn. This Circles and Smiles cushion has a plain cream back, fastened with 2 handmade wooden buttons and comes ready filled with a cushion pad. The hand stitched cushion covers are machine washable on a cold setting using non-bio detergent and dried flat out of direct sunlight, cool iron.
