"Our Giraffe's are all made entirely by hand; the cotton fabric is hand-loomed using traditional back strap looms, then cut into patterns to produce the animals.



All waste fabric from the pattern cutting process, is shredded to be used as the stuffing material.



As with all hand-made products there will be slight variations in size, colour and design in line with the unique nature of this product.

We are small independent company that has been trading since 2001; during this time we have forged strong trading relationships with producer groups located in Nepal and India. Every item we sell is handcrafted by our talented artisans, using traditional weaving, knitting or wet felting techniques. We have small production runs to eliminate as much waste material, where possible we also recycle the materials into other products. Therefore reducing our impact the environment as much as possible. We work with small family run businesses or fair trade cooperatives, that are creating secure employment in an area with little opportunity, especially for women.
