AOC Corbières wines have a number of distinctive features, such as their beautiful dark ruby colour with warm, slightly tile-like highlights. DEMON DE L'EVEQUE ROUGE is a Vin de Pays d'Oc made from Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache grapes.

Pierre Richard's wine has a rich aroma made up of fine notes of cocoa and scents of garrigue with aromas of ripe red fruit and a full, dense palate with specially softened tannins.
An exceptional wine to accompany your dishes
At 13.5% alcohol, Pierre Richard wine can be served with a good family meal or an aperitif with friends. The serving temperature of DEMON DE L'EVEQUE Rouge is 17° to 18° and it goes well with a variety of dishes, including charcuterie platters, grilled or roasted meats, dishes in sauce and simple cheeses.

Encouraged by the success of CHATEAU BEL EVEQUE, Pierre Richard wanted to extend his range by creating a more accessible and versatile range.
He has created three wines - white, rosé and red - of a generous and convivial nature that provoke desire and temptation. Combined with his well-known sense of humour, they are quite naturally called DEMON DE L'EVEQUE.
SOIL: Clay and limestone
VARIETIES: 45% Syrah - 40% Mourvèdre - 15% Grenache
GRADE: 13.5 %vol.
VINIFICATION: Hand-picked. Long maceration.
TASTING: Rich, warm, slightly tile-red colour. Harmonious nose with notes of
notes of roasting, liquorice and garrigue plants. Full and elegant on the palate with a fine
tannic structure.
SERVE AT: 17° to 18°C.
