Origin: KHLA turmeric is grown in Vietnam, the country of origin of this rhizome that has been used since Antiquity for its medicinal properties. It has been imported into Europe since the 18th century, first as a medicine, then as an essential spice for culinary preparations. Label: KHLA turmeric is organically produced. Cultivation: Turmeric is a rhizome that is harvested when its aerial part wilts, about 8 months after planting. It multiplies by division in the spring. The rhizomes are extracted from the soil, their humidity level is stabilised in the open air and then they are cleaned to be powdered. Cooking: KHLA turmeric is THE star of healthy cooking!
