DARJEELING POOBONG ORGANIC TEA
THE BLACK EXPERIENCE
Black tea - Premium ORGANIC Darjeeling SFTGFOP Poobong from Darjeeling, North India, small, noble tea garden in the "valley behind the clouds", excellent Darjeeling highland tea with a sweet, fruity note. The king of teas from a small premium estate in the Darjeeling highlands.
PREPARATION
Pour your black tea at 100 ° C. You should put about 12-15 grams of tea in a tea strainer for one liter of water. This is roughly equivalent to 4 heaped teaspoons. Let your black tea steep for 3-5 minutes before removing the tea strainer from the water.
You can infuse the tea up to 2 times. I.e. with a can of tea that is filled with 55g, you can prepare yourself in about 70 cups of black tea.
The good thing about your tea is: You can also infuse it cold as a cold brew tea. The dosage is similar, but you have to let the tea steep in cold water for 30-60 minutes. This is a refreshing alternative, especially for the warm summer months.
You can also put your boiled tea in the refrigerator after it has finished brewing. So you can drink it as a healthy iced tea.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Our Indian black tea Darjeeling Poobong is the king of teas. Darjeeling is one of the most famous and exclusive tea growing areas in the world in North India, near the Nepalese border. The harvest time for this second flush Darjeeling is usually between mid / late May and late June / early July, before the rainy season sets in.
The Darjeeling Poobong is golden brown in the cup and has a strong and at the same time sweetish-fruity taste with one
slightly flowery, mild finish. Here, too, the following applies: the more golden tips in the tea, the higher the quality. The Darjeeling comes from the Poobong Estate in Ghoom, a small, noble tea garden in the "valley behind the clouds". The estate is at an altitude of 750-1,400m.
The quality of the tea is SFTGFOP, which stands for Super Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe and is the highest quality class that can be awarded for Darjeeling teas. This reflects the golden tips, the even leaf and the floral note of the tea, which is known for an excellent Darjeeling.
Of course, like all our teas, this tea is also an ORGANIC-certified tea according to DE-ÖKO-039.
