Original hand cut lino print on slightly textured off-white 120gsm printmaking paper. Signed in pencil by the British artist.
Each of my lino print designs are hand drawn and carved into lino plate by myself, before carefully applying the ink to create the resulting image. Due to each one being handmade to order, they are all an original and each print will vary slightly in colour and texture – making every individual a truly unique piece of art!
This print was inspired by my love of house plants. Drawing from life, I recreated my Monsterra Swiss Cheese plant in print form using geometric shapes and lines to create depth in the image. The bold primary colour blue gives it a Matisse feel -making a striking overall print - perfect for Christmas presents, birthday's and house warming gifts, or for brightening up the walls in your home!
My recommendation for displaying this piece is to frame in a white frame, preferably with a mount, to set the image off nicely. The frames shown in the images are simple A4 Ikea frames. I think these prints sit well next to a houseplant, on the wall of a kitchen, bedroom, entryway or home office - maybe a nice addition to the new WFH (work from home) desk!
