Whether organic, fair trade or ethically sourced our toys are all suitable from birth, tested to UKCA and CE and machine washable. We have toys suitable for baby hampers and baby gifts up to large dinosaur soft toys. Our production partners share our values and we work with artisans and toy makers in Sri Lanka, Egypt, China, India & Vietnam. NB. we do not allow the sale of our toys on Amazon, Ebay or other third party platforms. Not only do we think that we have the cutest toys around but they are uniquely suited to the needs of young children. Knitted toys bring a tactile quality to baby toys which is great for helping sensory development. They are robust enough to stand up to even the most active of toddler play. And machine washable too! Based in East Sussex we are a family run, British company proud to produce Greetings Cards, Boxed Silver Jewellery Cards, Boxed Scented Candle and Greeting Cards, Ceramics, Gift Wrap, Stationery and Prints. In 2016 Crumble & Core began its life when 3 friends Jilly, Lucy & Lou came together with a cuppa around the kitchen table looking at Jilly’s beautiful artwork. We wanted to find a way that we could use her incredible artwork to create a beautiful range of Cards and Gifts. We all had very different skillsets, but collectively all those skills put together with a sprinkle of passion, drive and a sense of humour made us lucky enough to land the best job in the world – working together! Since then we have grown, and now run our business from a beautiful Oast house on a dairy farm in the stunning East Sussex countryside, with our products sold extensively in the UK and Worldwide. We have small production runs to eliminate as much waste material, where possible we also recycle the materials into other products. Therefore reducing our impact the environment as much as possible. We work with small family run businesses or fair trade cooperatives, that are creating secure employment in an area with little opportunity, especially for women.

Hastshilp is a small family run UK-based business, run by Aadil and Megan. Our bespoke designs are drawn by hand in our UK-based studio, and then sent over to our partner team in India to be brought to life. All our products are handmade in a small town in Northern India, where Aadil is originally from, by a family whose skills have been passed down through generations. Ethical and sustainable practices were important to us right from the beginning, as well as ensuring we were educated on the whole process, from sourcing to production and everything in between. The concept of Hastshilp began when we weren’t able to find many options of rattan home decor pieces for sale in the UK, and almost none that were made in India. Due to a lack of demand and an increase in cheaper machine-made goods, cane craftsmanship is sadly becoming a dying art in India.
