studio THIE is a contemporary lifestyle brand founded by Simon Thie. We aim to bring you joy and excitement through our uniquely designed and consciously made products. Our two brands, THIE and Paper Dreams have been developed with our conscious approach in mind. We prefer to use the word conscious, because that is what we are. Words like eco, ethical, and sustainable have become so widely used and misused that sometimes it is hard to know precisely what they mean, which is why we take a conscious approach to what we do. That includes offsetting carbon emissions, our climate-positive workforce, planting a tree for every order, being a living wage employer, and giving back 1% of sales to green initiatives. Our founder, Simon, worked in buying and product development for nearly a decade at one of the world's leading design and lifestyle brands, which led him to create his eponymous brand. We aren't perfect, but we are conscious.
