Jessica Leonard has prepared meals in some of New York’s most acclaimed restaurants including Eleven Madison Park, Daniel and The James Beard House, as well as the Virginia Governor’s Mansion. However, it was Jess’s love for fine chocolate and travel that inspired her to create something completely unique – one chocolate bar with eight distinct squares. In February 2018, Jess opened Miss Maude’s Bar of Chocolates with her signature ‘Why Choose?’ bar. Prior to entering the culinary industry, Jess spent 10 years as a financial analyst in Washington, DC and New York, including serving as a Vice President at Citi. Jessica is a graduate of George Washington University and received her chocolate training EVERYWHERE. When she’s not making chocolate, Jess is eating chocolate in all parts of the world.
