Each necklace, bracelet or pair of earrings includes a "mixed media" aesthetic of different materials. From textured vintage brass chains to colorful recycled fair trade beads, Natalie extracts her inspiration from the very components she uses.The name Etymology harkens back to Natalie's jewelry making beginnings- when she was using scrabble and boggle pieces to string together words and phrases in jewelry form. The aesthetic has evolved since then but the name is a reminder of how she started. A little bit more about Natalie: She is a Brooklyn, New York native and Brooklyn based designer and artist. As the owner for Etymology Jewelry, she is an alum from MICA, (The Maryland Institute College of Art) in Baltimore, USA and the noteworthy fame school, LaGuardia HS of Music and Art in New York City.
