The days are growing longer and flowers are starting to sprout up all around us, which means it’s finally time to get outside and enjoy the beautiful treasures across London. We’ve picked our team’s fave activities to do in the spring, places that will definitely make you feel like winter is officially over.
Walk a flower trail in Greenwich Park
Nothing says ‘Spring is here’ quite like being surrounded by blooming flowers. Everywhere you look, flowers are adorning shops, streets, meadows and parks. We particularly love this lesser known walk in Greenwich Park, which also has stunning views looking back over the London. If you time your visit just right, you’ll also be able to walk along the faint flower carpet as the seasons continue to change.

Would you ever come and have a walk down this beautiful path? ??? . ? – Story time: ?Walking down this memory lane, I remember the first time I discovered this beautiful place in 2016/17 while browsing for spring inspiration on Instagram! And the picture I saw instantly blew my mind away thinking OMG!! places like this exists in London ??♥️ . ⭐ – I still remember the first day i went to see it. Luckily it wasn't packed and this place was just as I imagined it'd be. A little piece if peaceful heaven I'd say ? . ♥️ – Pictures I took there was my favourite Nature shot of all time and it was the picture that went all around Instagram & It reached my all time goal which was getting featured by @wonderful_places. I wanted that since 2013, even before I was posting on Instagram regularly. ? .. This was one moment that I'm still proud of and always will be ?? . ? – So in 2018 I went there again to Recreate the picture I took in 2017, Using the picture printed on Retro print to give nostalgic feel having the exact same view ? . ? – It was harder than I thought it'd be. Had to take 40+ pictures just to line it up perfectly and since it was quite windy, it made it even harder. Because of the wind, Picture was kept on moving back and forth ?! So after all that try I finally managed to grab this shot to recreate my memory ??? . ♥️ Hope you "LIKE" this shot ♥️ Leave your Thoughts in the COMMENTS ?? . =========================== See more on my profile – ✔️ – @Shadz_ig =========================== . . . . . ==X===x====x====X=====x==X== #earthfocus #discoverearth #fantastic_earth #earthofficial #awesome_earthpix #theglobewanderer #greenwichpark #discoverglobe #travelawesome #awesomeglobe #roamtheplanet #welivetoexplore #thisislondon #destinationearth #depthobsessed #global_hotshotz #bestplacestogo #springinlondon #awesome_photographers #awesome_globepix #tlpicks #naturegeography #earthpics #folkscenery #tourtheplanet #doyoutravel #awesomepix #visitlondon #visualambassadors
Enjoy a Spring-inspired tea at Fait Maison
Let’s face it, it is still spring and we’re in London, so the rainy days are not behind us. But that doesn’t have to spoil the fun! Fait Maison is a floral oasis where you can perch for a few hours, enjoying scrumptious tea, cakes and more.

When the lovely @arabellagolby took Afternoon Tea in Fait Maison’s floral paradise. #repost Charmingly feminine, right down to the mismatched, vintage floral teapots (plural because that’s also a teapot filled with flowers on the right!) Even the chocolates came perched on a little tier. All of my favourite things in abundance at @fait_maison_london. ?? Spot the stunning blooms at St Paul’s
If you’ve lived in London for some time, St Paul’s Cathedral, although stunning, is probably one of the last places you would go. The City is eerily quiet on weekends, but it’s worth a trip to see the majestic building circled by a sea of tulips. After your visit you can make your way over to the Thames Path and continue your scenic stroll.
Watch wildlife at Clissold Park
For a truly relaxing and peaceful experience, head to the gem of Clissold Park in North London. It’s not uncommon to see the local deer in the park. Fawns are born from April though June, so you might get lucky and see some of the new life wandering around this picturesque retreat from the city.
Follow the rainbow in Primrose Hill
If you find yourself still searching for some light at the end of the winter tunnel, the pastel houses along Primrose Hill might be just the solution. Whether the skies are blue or grey, this quaint area will make you and your Instagram feed feel like Spring has arrived.

Shake off winter with a flower pedicure
Last but not least, when nature isn’t cutting it in helping you shake off the winter vibe, treat yourself to a visit to a Nail’d It salon where you can indulge yourself in a treatment where you will literally be bathing in spring (in the form of flowers). The decor of the salon will overwhelm your senses and is guaranteed to knock any hint of winter away!
