Muscovado sugar is the least refined and most aromatic cane sugar of all. Its high molasses content gives it a sweet and pronounced taste of licorice, maple syrup and caramel . This raw sugar is rich in vitamins ( A, B3, B5, B6...) and mineral salts ( potassium, magnesium, calcium). Very sensory, Muscovado sugar has a texture of melting sand and sometimes crystallizes according to temperature differences.
