The Gitwe Washing Station, operated by the Rwanda Trading Company (RTC), is responsible for processing these beans. Currently, RTC employs six permanent staff members, with an additional fifty workers joining during the harvesting season. Notably, 90% of the workforce consists of women, which significantly contributes to improving gender equality in the region.
