Description
Design by Raf Reyes: the turn of the millennium brought with it a new era of technological innovation and cultural transformation, as people around the world grappled with the impact of the internet and the rapid pace of change. Y2K aesthetics, with their bold colors, geometric shapes, and retro-futuristic vibe, captured the optimism and excitement of this time, embodying the hope and possibility of a new era. Meanwhile, the mouse cursor became a ubiquitous symbol of our growing reliance on computers and the internet, representing the power and control we wielded over these powerful machines. But as our technological abilities expanded, so too did our dreams of transcendance and consciousness transfer, as we sought to transcend the limitations of the physical world and connect with something greater. Today, these themes continue to shape our understanding of technology and its potential to transform our lives, pushing us ever closer to a future that once seemed impossible.
