In this difficult period, the Organic Fir Syrup of Canigou, by its natural and rich qualities of Essential Oils (alpha pinene, limonene), Polyphenols, Ole resin, will strengthen your body in a preventive manner.
LAGRIMUS, the Canigou fir syrup is produced by a long maceration of pine cones and pine (Abies Alba) mainly in sugar. The harvest starts in summer when the ripened pine trees are full of sap. They are harvested entirely by hand and macerated the same day. All our pine trees are harvested from the Canigou Massif, in the Catalan Pyrenees.
After several weeks, the nectar obtained is filtered in our Workshop, before being packaged.
Characterization of Fir syrup (University of Perpignan - 2014 ): Fir syrup has an antioxidant capacity in vitamin C equivalent of 619mgVCE / 100g. Its antioxidant activity is comparable to that of strawberries (520mgVCE / 100g), almost twice that of blueberries (383mgVCE / 100g) and 3 times that of wine (196mgVCE / 100g).
Usage tips
As a preventive treatment: To boost and develop your natural defenses, take a tablespoon of fir syrup every morning.
As a curative treatment: To relieve a strong cough, take 2 to 3 tablespoons of syrup every morning.
It is advisable to give it to children from 3 years old.
Can be stored for 3 years in a cool, dry place. Store in a cool place after opening and consume within 2 months.
