Farm to Table Flower Arranging and Drawing

DESCRIPTION

1 hour
Tools
Beginners
Nested in the courtyard of a 125 year-old church, you'll be picking & chosing from an array of seasonal farm flowers and foliage from British growers to create a voluminous, wild and natural hand-tied bouquet. You'll finish the class with a quick sketch of our collective arrangement, so you can keep the memory of your beautiful bouquet.

Good to Know

The class takes place over two hours, with an intimate group of no more than 6. You will create your floral hand tied, using spiralling technique taught by an experienced florist.

You'll pause for tea, cake and a quick sketching session to capture your final flower creations on paper. You'll finish with a fresh, wild bouquet and a piece of artwork to take home.

The Venue

Tucked away in Hackney Wick, St Mary of Eton is a Grade II listed church built by a mission of the private school Eton College to the poor of the East End. It has recently benefited a redevelopment and upgrade to support the local community. The workshop takes place in the gorgeous courtyard, surrounded by greenery and pot garden.
