Adorable, coral and blue striped dungaree is made from hand-spun cotton yarn and hand-woven cotton fabric. It has been yarn-dyed with natural organic dyes found in nature. No synthetic chemicals added. The buttons are made from coconut shells. The style paired with our Moonstone top is make it a perfect co-ordinated set. While its perfect for warmer days, it can also be worn in colder months with layers. The color and style make these dungarees a great unisex, gender-neutral baby wear. Please Note: Hand-spun yarn are uneven in width due to manual spinning of the fibers. This may create random slubs of yarn or thin weaves in some areas of the fabric. In the hand weaving process, the weft yarn sometimes breaks and tied back with hand knot. All this also impacts on how the natural dyes penetrate the fabric. It may sometimes times cause unevenness in the dye color. Natural dye does not use any synthetic chemicals or color-fasting agents. As a result, the dye may bleed and the color tends to fade over a few washes. These imperfections are what makes it a beautiful handmade product. We have also added styles made from recycled cotton from the excess garment production. The fibers are separated and blended with new fibers for strength. They are also dyed with Natural Dyes. Through this collection, we have made a small effort to support the small home-based artisans who work with their hands to make these beautiful handmade fabrics.
