With its own airstrip this estate had seen it all during more troubling times, where it served as a stronghold against Guerilla Forces. Nowadays, they have used their unique geographical conditions to grow beans that have earned them several nominations and victories for the cup of excellence in the last 12 years. Ricardo Arena, has been recognised not only for his excellent cup of coffee, but also his efforts to improve the lives of his own and other coffee farmers in Guatemala.
