Having seen far too much litter ruining the country side on our long dog walks in the beautiful Chiltern countryside and along the Cornish Coast we were inspired to create Paws the Planet. We've developed Pet Accessories made only from Sustainable or Recycled Materials, using waste fabric and waste plastic bottles that would otherwise end up in our Landfills or Ocean. Her goal was to show Jameson and other dogs how much they were loved and appreciated. After many trips in search of fussy Hugo's favourite treats and buying endless biscuits that he would turn his snout up at we finally discovered what he now loves! From tasty sausages to crunchy beef bites they had him hooked. Hugo had a taste of the highlife and he wasn't going back. We decided to do it ourselves and now Hugo is the face of his own company.

When the pandemic hit my dog walking and pet sitting business came to a sudden stop. With a past in science and lots of time on my hands, I used my knowledge and experience to create an online pet shop. The aim of the shop is to provide my four-legged furry friends with healthy and natural treats. Staying true to myself the shop also has an eco twist. Products are sourced locally where possible to reduce our carbon footprint. We stock a wide range of vegan treats which have a lower impact than the traditional meat based pet treats. All products are packaging free where possible and our own packaging is biodegradable/recyclable. The shop has gone from strength to strength and we expanded our range to include toys, chews and grooming products. We proudly launched our first own brand product, Chhurpi Dog Chews (yak milk) in December 2021. The pupstomer feedback has been fantastic and our Chhurpi Chews are now being stocked by other shops.

Like all good stories, mine began with a furry creature! Gizzls was started in a kitchen with a dough mixer, an oven and a rescue kitty named Gizzy, with the belief that our furry friends deserve only the best. The best and healthiest treats with fresher, simpler, all-natural ingredients. When Gizzy got sick, all I could find were treats with ingredient lists longer than your vet’s bill and shady things – like meat carcass or unnecessary fillers – that you certainly don’t want to give your sick kitty. So, I got baking. I baked treats with short ingredient lists that heal. And to ensure that the correct amount of goodness goes into each recipe, all our treats are developed with a pet nutritionist, herbalist and holistic vet. We started to bake, and we grew and grew! The bakery is now bigger, but our batches are still small and our ingredients are still the best. All our treats are 100% natural with zero nasties and a firm wiggle of approval from our chief taste tasters.

Our wood factory near Hamburg, Germany produces and sells a wide variety of everyday items made of olive wood, some of which we have developed ourselves. For example in the areas of kitchen, bathroom, shaving, beautiful living, barbecue, animals and much more. We attach great importance to high quality and environmentally friendly production. The olive wood products are completely natural, are only finely sanded and then finished with olive oil. This gives the wood its warm honey-yellow tone and the expressive grain of the Olive wood comes into its own even more impressively. Olive wood is very hard and dense. According to Brinell* 5.9 approx. twice as hard as oak. This property makes it particularly scratch-resistant and hygienic.
