Letterpress PLAY was founded by Kyle Hawley with the goal of sharing the magic of printing with the world paired with encouraging others to think about fostering sustainable choices and community. Artistically led by Kyle, we beautifully craft products in our design studio in Austin as well as carefully curate quality goods from local artisans and unique makers from around the world. Lois and Matthew Clark launched their pioneering brand in 2017, working with skilled suppliers of loofah in Egypt & coconut in Sri Lanka on an ethical, collaborative, & fair-trade basis to create products that reduce household plastic use & waste including the microplastic particles from plastic washing-up sponges, brushes & exfoliators found in most households. Inspired by traditional proven designs and underpinned by exemplary eco credentials, LoofCo products make switching from these common plastic household items a practical reality, without compromising on effectiveness and value. Instead, LoofCo use raw materials of loofah, coconut, rubberwood & cotton plant fibres which are sustainable, biodegradable, & vegan. Our new ranges are even launched from the winners of our biannual competition - fun events where the public - not us - choose our artists! We’re based in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, in the National Forest. Inspired by nature, our soaps are as natural as we can make them. Free of sulphates and parabens, vegan and not tested on animals, we use pure essential oils and natural ingredients to make soft, moisturising soap. Shea butter is well known for its moisturising properties and is used in a wide range of body products. We combine Shea butter with Mango butter, Coconut Oil and Olive Oil to make a soft and nourishing bar of soap. Many of our customers say they use less hand cream now as our soap moisturises their hands enough! We also make bath, body and home products.
